In order to bring meaningful infrastructural development to Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, Azeez Abiodun Olaniyan has tasked all residents to strive for development at all times.
Olaniyan made this call during his visit to home town, Ora Community, Ifelodun Local Government.
” No matter what we have become, our root is the most important thing in life. It is important for all us under Ifelodun Local Government to strive more for more development to our Local Government and immediate community.
” For me, I had my Primary and Secondary Schools in Ora Community and I cannot forget my humble beginning. I don’t have another country home in Nigeria. It is germane for all sons and daughters to know how to attract infrastructural facilities to our community.” he said.
Recall that Azeez Olaniyan is the Chairman of the Committee routing for the completion of Ora Central Mosque and President of Ora Grammar School Old Students Association (OGSOSA).
OGSOSA has facilitated block of classrooms and installed borehole for the use of the teachers and students in Ora Community.
On the same vein, Olaniyan led Administration is constructing well-equipped laboratory for Ora Grammar School, gave cash and scholarship awards to brilliant students.
While speaking to Hotnewsnaija Online, the certified engineer cum School proprietor, disclosed that OGSOSA has contributed immensely to the development of Ora Community.
He said, ‘‘Our Alumni Association has contributed immensely to the development of Ora Grammar School (both Junior and Senior), considering the numbers of projects delivered to the citadel of learning. We have installed borehole and generating set to create free flow of water for the students and teachers.
‘‘Apart from donating stationeries like text books, exercise books and other writing materials, the association facilitated the construction of block of classrooms aside equipping the constructed Science laboratory.’’
Olaniyan added that OGSOSA has raised the bar of excellence in the school by awarding scholarships to brilliant students and payment of West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for the under privileged students.
Olaniyan later urged all indigenes of Ifelodun Local Government extraction to contribute to the development of the Council Area.
