Award Ceremony: DASTIA honours Students, Teachers with cash gifts, Hajj Ticket

Daaru Salam Tahfidh Int’l Academy, a notable School for Qur’an Memorisation, Arabic Studies and Western Education, popularly known as DASTIA, has honoured students and teachers with several gifts ranging from Cash gifts, Awards and Hajj Ticket.

DASTIA was established in Ijegun , a suburb Area of Lagos state, Nigeria in 2016 to cater for the yearnings of parents who seek a Quran memorization academy of international standard. Learning and memorizing the holy Quran are with fun a comfortable environment.

While delivering her welcome speech at the Award Ceremony, the Proprietress of DASTIA, Dr (Mrs) Rasheedat Oke Olaniyan thanked the parents and teachers for their supports and promised that the goal of the school to maximize every child’s ability to memorize the Holy Quran in the shortest duration and instill complete moral system as the students forge ahead.

” I want to thank the parents for all their supports , particularly the students who make our job the joyful one for us. One thing is to teach; another one is the students to learn. Please, our parents should continue to encourage them when they get home.

”Without missing words, I thank the teachers for their efforts in making the kids sound in Arabic and western Education. The Management appreciates you all,” she said.

On the same vein, Olaniyan announced the commencement of DASTIA Nursery and Primary School situated at 20, Powerline road, Off Ayanlaja Street, Ijegun, Lagos.

Meanwhile, the students displayed various programmes ranging from Quiz, Qur’an Recitation, Presentations in English and Arabic Languages.

DASTIA also treated Parents and Teachers to games as comic relief when the students received awards for behavioural, teamwork and academic prowess.

It also reward the teachers with cash awards, planks and Hajj ticket to one of the teachers for their dedication to service.
