In order to contribute to the lives of students in Nigeria, Samson Soyebi Foundation offered Educational Scholarship to 40 final-year students across four tertiary institutions.
The Foundation was established by Builder Soyebi Samson Olukayode Akanni, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Honey Treat Limited.
In a statement released and made available to Hotnewsnaija Online, ”The 40 scholarship beneficiaries will not only be provided with tuition scholarships but automatically admitted into the Star Light Academy, where they will be mentored into good leaders by industry giants. The idea is to ensure these young ones do not walk through the valley giants have conquered alone.
”The mission of Samson Soyebi Foundation is to expose young bright persons to various opportunities for success, through good leadership tutelage; as well as equipping them to serve their communities and the world at large as good ambassadors of Nigeria.”
At the Social-Science Building, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, Soyebi thanked audience for being part of historical event and promised to be giving back to the society.
He added, ”The mission of the Foundation is very clear; to expose young bright persons to various opportunities for success, through good leadership tutelage; as well as equipping them to serve their communities and the world at large as good ambassadors of Nigeria”.
Meanwhile, One of the programs by which the foundation seeks to achieve it’s goals is through the Scholarship Program for final year students in four higher institutions & departments in Nigeria, which our founder attended.
These institutions are:
- Federal Polytechnic Ede (Department of Building Technology) Ede, Osun state;
- Olabisi Onabanjo University (Department of Economics) Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State;
- Yaba College of Technology (Department of Building Technology), Yaba, Lagos; and
- Ladoke Akintola University (Management Science Faculty) Ogbomoso, Oyo State.
