The Candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, vying to represent Agege Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives, Hon Sola Osolana has sued for issue-based campaigns and peaceful elections.
Osolana made this known in a press statement made available to journalists in Lagos.
He said, ”As we approach the electioneering campaign of 2023, It is important for every political party work towards peaceful elections in 2023. In Agege Federal constituency, many Agege and Orile Agege residents are looking for development in the both Council Areas, so we must explain our programmes on education, youth and Women empowerment, security and development of infrastructure. At present, check our roads, Primary Health Centres, Primary Schools and condition of all our facilities. They residents of this Federal Constituency must participate fully in the upcoming elections and vote for greater Agege and Orile Agege.
”This is not the time to fight or complain. It is a period for issues-based campaigns and our people must exercise their franchise to vote for candidates of their choice. And our party, PDP, believe that Independent National Electoral Commission will conduct a free, fair and peaceful elections in 2023.”
Meanwhile, he added that it is evident that Agege Federal Constituency deserves quality representation at the Federal House of Representatives and his candidacy is deliver for all the residents.
The Business mogul turned politician promised to bring true representation, excellent leadership and availability of social amenities to the residents of Agege and Orile Agege Area Councils.
