The Management of Sona Group of Industries, Nigeria has commenced the grading of some of inner roads in Ado-Odo/Ota local government area of Ogun State.

This gesture came from a request from the Chairman of Ado-Odo Ota local government, Hon Sheriff Adewale Musa urging industrialist in the Council area to partner with the Local government in the realization of his dream to have a good and motorable roads within the Council Area. The Group Corporate Affairs Manager of SONA GROUP OF INDUSTRIES, Mr Soji Fagbemi told our correspondent that it was with great enthusiasm and zeal that Sona Group received the request from the Council and as a responsive entity embraced the idea and was ready to fund the initiative as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility. Mr Fagbemi also emphasized that Sona Group had in the past and currently being involved with it’s major stakeholders in bringing succor and smiles not only to the hosts communities but the general public at Large
He noted sinking of boreholes, lighting of streets, direct and indirect job opportunities, provision of pallatiatives during the Civid-19 pandemic to the State and the Council amongst many other initiatives of Sona Group as part of the Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility in the past.
The Group Managing Director, Mr Ajai Musaddi added that the Group remain committed to partnering with all organs of government and will always be alive to it’s responsibilities. Also, will continue to pay all legitimate rates, levies and taxes in order to support the government. He also urged every other spirited individuals and corporate entities to follow suit.
