The Executive Chairman of Ado-odo/Ota Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Musa has tasked all private industries within the Local Council Area to contribute meaningfully to the host communities.
Musa disclosed this at the export ceremony organized by Food Agro & Allied Industry Limited, Ota.
He said the residents are gaining from the existence of the industries but the manufacturers must take community development as major priority.
“Ado Odo/Ota is still a growing industrial hub because of so many things that are happening around. Although, we are gaining from the industries to provide economic power and job opportunities for our teeming youths but environment challenges are still there.
“Since the commencement of this administration, I have been going around the industries for Corporate Social Responsibilities. In fact, we are planning to host managements of all industries around and put resources together for the community projects,” he said.
The Chairman promised that his administration will continue to make environment conducive to all manufacturers within the local government.
He said, “We are to protect security of lives and properties and improve social wellbeing of the residents. Our government has been a good friend of all companies around and we are on the same page. We shall continue to make environment conducive to all manufacturers within the local government.”
